A yucca stalk in bloom on the slopes of Uncle Sam.  Flies out in earnest now and were making stopping even for a short time a miserable experience.

Back to Pat Spring camp.  This is the campsite that has the often missed trail to VDC leading out of it (shorty before and within site of Pat Spring itself).   Stopped to get more water, but even this was difficult with the enormous amount of flies.
