No dramatic summit block on Waterhouse (and the summit never really breaches the treeline)

A small talus pile on the summit along with a painted ammo box summit registry. Hawkins Peak is the volcanic cone off to the left.

The registry had entries dating back 27 years to its 1982 placement by the Northern Alpine Section of the Sierra Club. Very few entries from the 80's- lots from recent years.
Most recent prior entry was about a week old.

Scotts Lake and Stevens Peak from Waterhouse. (Stevens is on my list for this summer)

Hawkins is on the horizen and Pickett is before it (somewhat hard to see in the crappy cloudcover lighting)

Looking over at the end of the summit ridge. Pyramid Peak and the Crystal Range are the snowcaps on the horizen.

The only view of Tahoe from anywhere on today's trails. I think thats Tallac on the left side of the ridge above the lake.

I had climbed Freel and Jobs Sister on Saturday.

Thompson Peak was visible through the trees on much of the downhike.
