The wash continued deeper into the Wonderland of Rocks and we were soon surrounded by a maze of rock piles.

The canyon at Willow Hole was a bit confusing, but we soon found the route to what we think was Willow Hole proper. This was a talus filled canyon with a trickle of water flowing beneath the rocks.

Todd scrambled up to the top of the canyon. I didn't want to risk it with my injured ankle, so I retraced my steps back to the trail.

My ankle held up reasonably well today given the sandy terrain. Picked up a ton of burrs on this section tho.
