Site Stuff: This site was originally started as a simple way of sharing my pictures with friends and family but seems to have grown into a more general backcountry information site. Fedak Stuff: This site is the top Google hit for 'fedak' and gets a fair amount of traffic for people searching on the Fedak surname. Here's a list of my known living Fedak relatives:   John Fedak (Me, Mountain View, CA) Originally from Moon Township, PA. Attended Moon Area HS (90), Carnegie Mellon (93) and Columbia (99). Lived in Tempe, AZ from 93-97 and Silicon Valley, CA from 97-Present. Marian & Bernard Fedak (Parents, Pittsburgh, PA) Todd Fedak (Brother, Confluence, PA) Hedwig Fedak (Grandmother, Carrick, PA) Ken & Mary Ann Fedak (Uncle/Aunt, Baldwin, PA) Kenny Fedak (Cousin, Baldwin, PA) Chris Fedak (Cousin, Baltimore, MD) My Grandfather's family immigrated from Galicea, Poland My Great-grandmother's family (Swiechocki/Bartkowski) immigrated from Radzanow, Poland. I'm not related to (and am not) the Pennsylvania birdwatcher named John Fedak. I'm also not (to the best of my knowledge) related to the Chris Fedak who is writer/producer for the TV show "Chuck"  Camera Stuff: Pictures from Nov 2000 through Feb 2003 were taken with a 3MP Casio QV3000. From Feb 2003 to Jan 2005 I had a Olympus C-5050 and am currently using a Canon PowerShot S70. I've been quite pleased with all three of these cameras. Technical Stuff: The site is hosted on a custom built PC via my home cable modem. The image mirror is hosted by Powweb. It is based on a (lightly) customized version of Gallery photo album and Php-Nuke content management system. Legal Stuff: All photographs on this site are Copyright © 2002-2006 John Fedak.
